Granny Stripe Blanket!
It is easy, simple but beautiful and most importantly endless!
You can make a big blanket for your bed, or make table cover, or baby blanket.
If you use different colours in each 2 rows, looks most beautiful. (when I find some more free time, I will do colourful one for my self, I have a lot of left overs, so I can use them for my project)
I made this blanket for my friend's baby boy:)
Hook: 3.5 mm
Yarn: Nako Baby, Bebe Color (blue one)
Note: The hardest part of this project is the first part-making a very long chain, and then working into the very long chain for your foundation row. But to be honest, totally worth it!
Pattern: the pattern stitch is a multiple of 3 + 2 .
The stitch count is a multiple of 3, plus 2 stitches.
I have done 138 chain + 2
Foundation Row: after made 138+2 chains, 1 sc in to the second chain from the hool. and make sc in each chain accross until you reach the end of the row.
Row 1: ch 3, (counts as 1dc), 1 dc in the first sc, [skip 2 sc, 3dc into next sc], 2dc at the end of the sc.
Row 2: ch 3, (counts as 1dc), [3dc into next space between dc groups] repeat to last space. 3dc into last space and then 2dc into 3rd stitch of ch3 from previous row.
then repeat Row1 and 2....
